On October 18, 2018, the Aerospace Engineering Department of the University of León organized a seminar as part of its Aerospace Engineering Seminar Series, aimed at showcasing the technical resources and activities carried out by the National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA) within its area of expertise—applied research in aeronautics and space exploration.

The seminar was delivered by Lieutenant General Moisés Manuel Fernández Álvaro, of the Air Force Engineers Corps, currently serving as Deputy Director General for Aeronautical Systems at the Esteban Terradas National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA).

The event, open to all students interested in aviation and space exploration, provided attendees with an overview of INTA’s infrastructure across Spain and the wide range of research and technical developments being conducted at its various facilities.
